All about the Mundt family farm
Welcome to the Mundt family farm. We are two families, Brenton Mundt and his wife, Heather Mundt, along with their two sons, Henry and Caleb. We farm with Brenton's parents, Ed and Marilyn Mundt. We work together on pretty much everything right now but as the years fly by, Ed and Marilyn are moving toward retirement while Brenton and I prepare for taking over the farm. We look forward to one day when our sons will help out on the farm and maybe even learn to take it over from us one day.
For now we focus on making the best possible hay and farming our land the best way we know how. We have several thousand acres of farmland that we rotate around with alfalfa and grain crops and a growing herd of cattle that started with 20 cows and is now over 150 head. Brenton grew up with cattle and he loves watching the calves grow up healthy and strong on quality hay. If you want to learn more about our farm and how we operate, check out the farm blog (coming soon). You can learn all about what we've learned about organic farming and things like how we've coped with the stress of modern day farming (including how it almost killed Brenton).
